Opened in 2004, the Hilton Kuala Lumpur is a 35-storey high-rise hotel located by KL Sentral railway station, overlooking the Lake Gardens. The KLCC shopping centre, 15 kilometres away, houses six floors of shops, plus live entertainment, restaurants, an art gallery and a science discovery centre. The centre is located at the foot of the Petronas Towers, 450-metre skyscrapers that lay claim to being the tallest twin towers in the world. Kuala Lumpur International Airport is 78 kilometres away, and can be reached by car in approximately 50 minutes.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS
Hilton Kuala Lumpur is directly linked with the airport express
train, which reaches Kuala Lumpur International Airport in 28
minutes. Taxis are available at the airport, and cost approxima
tely 80 MYR to the hotel. Railway lines and roads connect Kuala
Lumpur with many other parts of the country. Buses, mini-buses
and metered taxis are readily available in the city itself. Th
e city also features a Light Rail Transit (LRT) system, but som
e popular destinations are not near LRT stations, and visitors
may have to combine LRT and taxis or buses.
